Heat of the Summer

ink on paper, woodcut, 8.5 in x 10 in, 2019.

Process

For this print, I wanted to make a nostalgic, yet fragmented representation of memories from childhood.

When I was younger, my backyard was always a place to play games and have fun with my neighbors. When I think about these moments, images of grassy hills and vibrant trees flash through my mind.
